my day at camp….


There’s this kid, Avril … he’s around 16-18 and one of the leaders of the Rangers… and today was his last day at camp for the summer. So of course the ADstaff had to help make this day memorable for him. We took his car, hid it on the farthest and most remote camp site, and what they did to it was beyond me… the camp director stole his cell phone…and then it comes to what i had to do…, Avril is the kind of idiot who will take a super soaker and shoot you just because hes bored, I am not the kind of person you do that to. So he shot me in the back when i was at pool with my kids. So i got up, stole some other kids soaker and ran after him, shooting the whole way. We began to get a little too crazy and I slipped on the damp grass under the PC deck and got some rocks in my knees, a few scrapes and a little bloodied up…. but after i got fixxed it was back to getting avril double time. I grabed a troop of cadettes that like me and we went and took his backpack and strung his boxers up the main flagpole as the first part of the prank. When he went to get them down I met him up there and we were talking like we were friends… but it didn’t end there, they were up there for a good couple of hours”He took them back and told me he was going to go swimming in the pool anyway :-P:-);-):-DO.O” “I abandon my kids again with 2 aids and me and Lauren run to start anti-Avaril pt 2 I grab a troop of older brownies this time that another friend of mine was leading and we run to the pool and start to make a distraction with 1 & 20 and Sunnyside and some other games until hes in the pool and not paying attention. “I got the lifeguards to help me get his backpack with all of his clothes in and AND WE RAN … grabbed Janet from the little store and ran up to flag and hoisted his Boxers, shorts and backpack up the flag this was about ten to 4 … we get word he’s comming and there were about 50-100 girls up by flag already. He has his watergun and wanted to know where the car was and would let his stuff stay up if we told him. So I didn’t of couse…. So me and a few other leaders got into a fight with him that now has been called “Battle for the Flagpole” and it took 10 minutes for the girl scouts to win… we got 100 girls to chase him out of the field and back to the pool grounds with all of us screaming and taunting him afterwards… then singing “GOD BLESS MY UNDERWEAR” and we sang that AGAIN when Alicia (the camp director) came up with the crate to do closing flags. She was laughing so hard too “and after we took down flag we left all of his things hanging up on the flag pole for him to come and get after he was done pouting and carrying on about it back at the PC “I got 350-400 girls to sing that song twice… and the bus I watch on the ride home made a big deal and “sang it in my honnor”

I’m tired of brownies!


Brownie girl scouts … i love them, they’re great for a little while … but while everyone else gets to move up in the girl scout camp world i get to stick with them. I love little kids, they’re great … but … im exhausted at the same time!

these kids are a handful! so im taking tomorrow off from them and the heat

one of them was a total brat and got another paper added to her file today! its so frustrating… won the battle in the end too.

i also decided to go to summerfest this year and go to the hardcore! if i can get a ride there…… therein lies a problem, i can drive myself! why am i worrying…

so much for getting anything DONE THIS WEEKEND … other than deal with problems…

and go shopping for new dishes for when i move out! yay for more “Mission Flower” … camp again tomorrow and class and baking. Full day got me now!

4 weeks down


i am going to work on my layout this weekend, yes yes i
am…. someone hold me to that one alright? but i guess the weekend is
almost 1/2 over now… well, thats okay too

Today was good, I got to go out to Pburg and look at the store I got my
plaid skirt from (Christopher & Banks) …went to panera and to
Wal*Mark and got plaid sheets for my bed, could this be classified as
an obcession? My thing for plaid?

Well, im happy right now. Work is on monday and its off to week 5!!!
WEEK 5!!!!! that means I’m over the summer camp hump! I just have to
fill out all of those reports on that horriable kid from my last group,
oh the stories i have about this kid!!! AUG!!!!

 My ipod is back again and working better than before so im happy about that too.

Just trying to keep my mind of someone and my eyes on the next rank at the end of next month.

Yet another day


Camp was camp, I lost the lanyard contest but considering what I was competing against i guess comming in close to last was okay. Next week im going to have a great entry. I’m doing a 3 by 1 beryl choker with a lock and key charms on it. I think im going to title it “key to my heart”

its Black, clear Blue, White and Sparkle Silver lanyard. It’s about 1/2 the length of my cosmic egg. I’d really like to win that hour in the air conditioned room and the ice cream sunday… and the lanyard. The woman who won made a lady out of all lanyard, who was making a lady out of lanyard, who was making a lady out of lanyard… Anyone that good shouldn’t be aloud to win, Or have a contest for the other people that are that good.

I entered my first 3 attempts at beryl. and titled it “Juliet’s first real attempts at lanyards.”

other than the kids not listening to me and making smores I realized that I DO kNOW how to swim! I really do know how to swim and i actually spent time in a pool today enjoying myself with Cara and Natasha. I’ve not been in a pool in so many years, it felt really, really good in a weird way.

…I guess there is a real point to this post… I’m worried about my mom … she got sick about a month ago and still isn’t better. They put her on medicine but its not really working. So we went back to the doctor tonight for more of it and are hoping its going to work this time. If it doesn’t she’s going to be admitted, have a pik line put in and have IV medication pumped into her. I’m scared… she’s going insane and i don’t know what to do about it… I feel like I should be doing more to help her instead of sitting up here doing nothing all the time but there’s not much for me to really do… I want to get out of here tonight …

well… i have work again tomorrow and im not thinking about sleep… however … stealing the modem would be a nice idea… yeah, i might do that.

i guess its about time for something real … in between all the insanity


i started thinking about this post last night, and started it on the bus this morning to work …

but im talking to myself more again … like the ways i do when i seperate myself from relaity because it gets to be a little too much sometimes. I just hate when i start to scare myself by it. But i seem to be good at scaring myself anyway, so whatelse is new there?

This my is my camp story today. Because its amusing even though it angered me first. Today was hot! over 100 where I am and unbearable with the humidity… so after spending my whole day outside i get word that a parent of one of my newest girls is going to bring cake and a craft for the kids to celebrate the birthday that was yesterday.

So the mother (whos divorced husband did a big thing for her yesterday) decides shes bringing in cake and craft for everyone and she’ll be over at 3pm for us to have this little party for the kid. THIS IS CAMP WOMAN!!! WE DO CRAFTS ALL DAY, I DON’T CARE THAT HER BIRTHDAY ISN’T DURING SCHOOL.

we were supose to have closing flag ceremony and needed to practice and do other things for the badge but i stepped away and said fine, who am i to ruin some kids fun right? Well, that mother didn’t actually ARRIVE until 3:45. we star flags at 4:10 sharp! She can’t do her craft, everyone is upset because of it… its a total disaster.

I’m exhausted and frustrated also, because im trying to help keep this troop together with my 3 other aids (who are amazing) but this mother took a huge chunk out of our day that we needed to reherse!

she uses all the time we need, then wants to just take her kid from us too, well… no…you need to talk to someone and sign her out. By the time we all get to flag we’re late, Alicia said that we can’t do it and she gave it to the cadettes… fine with me… but if she didn’t stink so much we would have had it.

The rest of the day was fine really. I went home and wasted the rest of my life on the internet. Yep. productive day!

TODAY

was less hot, less humid but just as annoying!!! one of my littles made #2 accident I felt so bad about her getting like that… she’s a cute little one. one of the nice ones too. we took her and got her cleaned up… but my towel was too disgusting for words. At least the kid is okay. They’re really bratty little buggers but all in all its not that bad of a job… I hope i win something in the lanyard contest tomorrow. an hour in an air conditioned room… how great would that be! But some woman is entering a person made of lanyard. I don’t stand a chance

the rest of the day was okay… I’m still sad about him and how this is going but i’ll get over it… i always do

Well, I always planned on posting before this, but Semagic seems to hate me again… AGAIN

I’m really hating camp, period… I want some time off from it, 8 weeks of this bullshit is not worth it, I am not getting paid enough to do this for another 4 weeks! I’ve got the kids from hell for the past 2 weeks and im tired of it! They’re horriable little monsters! I cannot believe these kids! Whatever happened to parents Diciplining their kids?

UGH! and its so hot and i hate the heat … i should work on my lanyard for the contest too but im not

my dad went back to chicago for work too… hes nice as long as he’s not home! i find it sad and amusing … i hope he’ll be around for my testing and hardcore. I’m not missing hardcore this year. no way

im still inlove with spamalot! amazing musical and everyone should see it!!!

I miss my victor too, i should call him to tell him I love him… even though i don’t know if i really feel this way anymore… oh vicci…
